Multiple connections,
one seamless pipe

MPTCP splits your traffic across multiple WAN links simultaneously. The termination server at our IX reassembles it in order. To your applications, it looks like one fast, reliable connection.

  • โšก
True Aggregation, Not Just Failover Unlike simple failover, bonding uses all connections simultaneously. A single download uses every WAN link at once โ€” actual combined throughput.
  • ๐Ÿ”
Session Persistence During Failover When a WAN drops, active sessions don't break. Video calls, VoIP, VPN tunnels, and SSH sessions continue uninterrupted. Zero reconnects.
  • ๐Ÿง
Intelligent Traffic Distribution The Peplink router continuously scores WAN quality โ€” latency, jitter, packet loss โ€” and distributes traffic to the healthiest links in real time.
  • ๐Ÿ“
Terminated at Internet Exchanges Your bonded tunnel terminates on our VPS at the nearest IX โ€” same infrastructure where Starlink ground stations peer. Lowest possible latency path.

Who needs Starlink
bonding?

๐Ÿšข

Maritime & Vessels

Fishing fleets, research vessels, cruise ships, and offshore platforms need reliable broadband at sea. Bond multiple Starlink dishes for throughput and redundancy when you're hundreds of miles from shore.

At-sea deployment
๐Ÿš’

Emergency Communications

Fire command vehicles, emergency operations centers, and first responder networks can't tolerate downtime. Bonded Starlink with cellular backup provides the resilience that emergency response demands.

Critical ops
๐ŸŽช

Events & Broadcast

Live streaming, multi-camera broadcast, and real-time production from anywhere. Bonded connections handle the throughput of professional video without the risk of a single feed dropping mid-broadcast.

Remote Sites & Ranches

Critical business operations in rural areas โ€” SCADA systems, livestock monitoring, equipment telematics โ€” run reliably when connectivity can't afford to fail even once.

Aviation Ground Support

Remote airstrips, bush pilot operations, helicopter bases, and wildfire air attack bases need reliable comms in locations where a single Starlink dish isn't enough redundancy.

Mission critical

Construction & Mining

Large construction sites and mining operations run project management software, video surveillance, drone data upload, and crew communications โ€” all simultaneously. Bonding handles it all.

Heavy data use

Built on proven
open-source technology

We don't reinvent the wheel โ€” we deploy the best tools available and manage them expertly, so you don't have to.

OpenMPTCProuter
The gold standard for MPTCP bonding. Open-source, battle-tested, used by emergency services worldwide. We run the VPS termination server so you don't have to.
Peplink Routers
Industrial-grade WAN management. SpeedFusion bonding, health monitoring, QoS, VLAN, VPN โ€” all in one device. Deployed by US military and Fortune 500 alike.
MPTCP
Multipath TCP is a kernel-level protocol extension that sends data across multiple paths simultaneously. Session state persists across WAN changes โ€” no dropped connections.
IX Termination
Your bonded tunnel terminates on our VPS at the Internet Exchange โ€” not some random VPS in a shared data center. Same fabric where Starlink peers for minimum latency.

01

Order & Consultation

Tell us your site requirements โ€” number of dishes, locations, throughput needs. We design the right bonding configuration and router selection for your environment.

02

Hardware Ships

A pre-configured Peplink router arrives ready to plug in. We pre-load the VPN credentials, tunnel config, and WAN settings. No technical knowledge required.

03

Connect Dishes

Plug your Starlink dishes (and any other WANs) into the Peplink router ports. Power on. The router connects to our IX termination server and bonds automatically.

04

We Monitor & Support

We watch your WAN health 24/7. If a dish goes offline, we see it before you do. We handle escalations with Starlink and adjust routing as conditions change.

Common questions about
Starlink bonding

Do I need to own the Starlink dishes? +
Yes โ€” you need active Starlink subscriptions for each dish you want to bond. We handle the bonding service and management; Starlink handles the satellite connectivity. We can help you source and set up the dishes if needed. A standard residential or business Starlink plan works fine.
Is this real bandwidth aggregation or just failover? +
True aggregation. A single large download will use all bonded WANs simultaneously, giving you combined throughput. This is different from simple failover or policy-based routing where each connection is used separately. With MPTCP bonding via OpenMPTCProuter, all links are used at the same time for every flow.
Will my VoIP calls and Zoom meetings stay up during failover? +
Yes. MPTCP maintains TCP session state across WAN changes, which means active connections โ€” including VoIP, video calls, SSH tunnels, and VPN sessions โ€” survive a WAN failure without dropping. For UDP-based VoIP, we configure the Peplink's QoS to prioritize voice traffic and its health-based routing to detect WAN issues before packets drop.
Can I bond Starlink with non-Starlink connections? +
Absolutely. Our most common configurations bond Starlink with LTE/5G cellular (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile), fixed wireless, fiber, or cable internet. Any WAN connection with an Ethernet handoff works. Many customers use Starlink as primary with cellular as backup and automatic failover โ€” the ideal resilient setup for remote sites.
Does bonding increase latency? +
Minimal impact. Bonding adds approximately 5โ€“15ms of processing overhead at the termination server. Since our termination servers are at Internet Exchanges where Starlink ground stations peer, the overall round-trip latency is actually better than using a random cloud VPS โ€” and far better than going the wrong direction across the internet.

No more single points of failure.

Tell us how many Starlink dishes you have and what you need. We'll design a bonding configuration that eliminates your downtime and maximizes your throughput.
